Amitabh Bachchan undergoes minor surgery, doing 'fine'

Actor Amitabh Bachchan underwent an abdominal surgery on Saturday morning at the Seven Hills Hospital in suburban Andheri. Speaking to media personnel, his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan said the surgery had been successful. 'My father underwent abdominal surgery at a hospital today. The operation was minor and it lasted approximately three hours. He is fine and in the recovery room," said Abhishek.
